NOTICE! Requirements for the secured cabinets
  • Extinguishing Apparatus AGC Master and AGC Slave can only be applied in server cabinets (or other cabinets compatible with this type of device) whose air-tightness enables a required concentration of HFC 236fa (FE-36) extinguishing agent to maintain after the release of gas. The cabinets must be air-tight from the sides (no perforation, gaps, holes etc.). Cabinets may have ventilators but they need to be extra-air-tightened with nonwoven fabric (offered by manufacturers producing devices of this kind). It is also advised to fit a cabinet with a actuator operated damper in order to increase air-tightness of the cabinet during fire extinguishing. The bottom of the cabinet should be wadded or its air-tightness should be increased by the application of an actuator operated damper.
  • It is crucial to remember that cabinet’s door and other parts of the case (side doors and other moving objects) must be hermetically closed. Only air-tight zone guarantees the required concentration of HFC 236fa (FE-36) gas in the case of the fire.
